This company was rude and unproffessional, they collect for Verizon Phone and Internet Company. I had use Verizon for my internet by using a mobile internet modem, which never stayed connected, never work right, I called a number of times to Verizon about this modem and was told that they would give me another one and I was in this contract no way could I get out of the contact for another 6 months. I had the service turned off, of course I was billed for remaining amount and I called Verizon and was told my account was turned over to a collection agency. I called that collection agency and work out a settlement of 211.58 which was to come out of my paycheck on a Monday three weeks after our conversation, durning the three weeks my credit card had to be cancelled due to my credit card number had been sold (which that has been a nightmare). So I called Verizon and thru the promts, i was conected to this company (at this time I thinking it is the same company I had spoke to prior and had everything settled with) When I explain what had happened and I want them to pay with my husbands card, then they informed me that this another collection company and I owed 200 dollars more and that they would not honor my amount from this other company. The other company did not leave any collection notes, but that they "ran my credit card for the amount agreed (4 days prior then they agreed to) and that it was declined and now pthey have my account and I now owe over 400 dollars! I was so upset I asked for a supervisor and he explained to me that they would not honor my arrangement with the other company.......but we can settle on another amount and we could split the payment. By this time I am so angry and upset and I just want this bill paid and done with, so after talking back and forth I finally said fine I will pay this in two payments. I requested that they send me a letter showing this bill is done and he said I could call and request that. I told NO! due to the fact that I am having to pay more than I agreed on, He shoud be nice enough and send me what I requested. I am still upset with the all of the events that has happen with my credit card and with this collection agency, I feel that I have been taken advantage of not once but twice! Please stay away from Verizon and this collection agency!
