Chatmon Services John Chatmon Exagerated skill level, experience & knowledge. Ruined my property, assaulted me and took my $6000 check. I stopped payment & he sues me Lindale, Texas

Chatmon exaggerates his level of skill, experience and knowledge of painting when he is coming to your house to solicit work. He doesn't have the ability to perform the quality of work that indicated & expected.  The work done on my house is far below the normal standard and what I expected from a so called "professional" painter. I paid him &6,000.00, as he requested just prior to him completing because I was going to be gone for the rest of the afternoon.  He had my money already so he just painted my front porch & back deck instead of staining (it was horrendous & ugly & looked like a huge hershey bar.  When I called him about it and the other voluminous things I was not satisfied with he admitted he didn't know how to stain concrete as he agreed.  He didn't replace my deck boards either which explains the horrible choc paint on it too.  He oversprayed fixtues, roof, lighting fixtures plants, actually, everything at least 3 feet out from the house.  Everything was drenched in paint.  After he agreed to correct the issues, he brutally assaulted me in a sexual manner then lied to police, even faking a voicemail message, supposed to be me, after the sexual attack, done by another woman which he played for police & they believed his lies & did nothing, therefore I was not believed & he is now free to drive by my house, ring my doorbell & simply make my life a mightmare.  So after all that, I stopped payment on the $6000.00 check, (for which many things were either not done or not done as agreed).  Several days later, I receive service that he was suing me for stopping payment on my check, 1. for the massive damage to my property and 2. for assaulting me in a sexual way, which he denies, of course.  I now have the expense of hiring someone that is qualified, as Chatmon obviously is not, to come in and repair & remove overspray that is everywhere & on everything, then to complete the job as a professional painter would do.  He is not honest, he's a liar nor is he trustworthy as my deck does not have all new boards as agreed & for what I paid, which is the  reason he painted it instead of staining it so I wouldn't know the difference.  He doesn't do work as agreed & will attempt to keep you from finging out & when you do, he is likely to attack.  You will certainly spend more money correcting all that he damaged than is you simply hire a professional who is qualified to paint a home & I wouldn't have him stalking me. Hiring him was the worst mistake of my life.  The worst day of my life what the day I allowed Chatmon into my yard to solicite is services.
