Checkline Wireless Did not receive the $300 rebate they claimed in writing even after many phone calls Fairlawn New Jersey

I purchased a family cell phone plan in January 2006 from Checkline Cellular dealer. According to the advertisement, we would get $100 rebate from T-mobile and $300 from the dealer if we sign-up with a new plan and also keep the same old phones we were using.

We did just that and we received the T-mobile rebate of $100. The dealer's rebate would be received after 6 months, as I was told. I called in September and Dave (person in charge/owner) said that I would have to drop-off the original purchase proof and then I'll receive the check in the mail within 2 weeks. So I did just that.

Then I called them in October since I didn't receive my $300 rebate. Each time I asked for Dave, he was never there and I was told he'll be in tomorrow or next Saturday. So I followed-up accordingly and still I could not get a hold of him. When I asked the guy who picked-up the phone about my rebate, his typical reply was that they should have been all mailed-out. That can't be because my brother who signed-up with them after I did also didn't receive his rebate of $170. My brother gave-up on this dealer, but I am not.

This leads me to believe that they are alluring customers to buy cell phone plans from them and not giving the advertised rebate in hundreds of dollars to many folks. I still have this advertisement to prove it. If they say that the rebates were all sent, then let's see the canceled checks or any other proof of payment.

I still call them about my rebate and it's funny that they still have the same old reply. I am certainly not the only one getting duped from this dealer.
