After my car accident a few months ago, I needed a little money to help ends meet because I knew I would be out of work for a while. My attorney (who I later found out worked directly with Cherokee Funding and gets a percentage) advised me to borrow funds from Cherokee Funding. I borrowed $500 (there was a $75 processing fee) even though I am located in GA as Cherokee Funding is. A total ripoff!
It is now 3/18/2018 not even 3 months after my accident and I am said to owe $900! There are charging almost 50% on a pre settlement loan due to compounding interest which my attorney did not advise me of. I am a college student being charged $900 on a $500 loan that I only needed during my time of struggle. So sad that Cherokee Funding rips off citizens who are already struggling with the aftermath of horrible car accidents.
I have reached out to a consumer investigative reporter who works with a local news station and I will be speaking with his investigative team to get to the bottom of Cherokee Funding and find others who have also been ripped off by attorneys and those who work for and with Cherokee Funding. I am ready to show the entire nation on television what a scam this company is. Consumers BEWARE! If there is any other method for you to receive funding please do so!

Contract?

As a part of this loan, you would have received a contract which you were to READ and sign if you agreed to the terms. The contract contained all the financial particulars. Why do you come here to complain about these terms if you would have READ the contract, you would know them in advance?
