I purchased a new Chiappa 22mag-410 double badger in September of 2013. After bringing it home we set up to test fire the gun. at 25yds the 22 ih off by 1'. We tried to adjust the sights but couldn't. We call the company and they said they know about the problem and that the gun came through with wrong sights. We were to send it back to them in Ohio and they would fix it and send it back to me. I have called them several times as I have been told it will only be a few weeks and I would have it back. I even talked to the manager Chris and he assured me it would be taken care of. Here it is 6 months later, and many calls later and still they don't know when this will be taken care of. I asked for the contact number or email to the company in Italy and they would not give that to me.

I am very upset that a so-call reputable company is so lax in their efforts to take care of a manafactured defect. I purchased the rifle to hunt with in the fall of 2013 but much to my tough luck that didn't happen. So at what point do they buck up and take care of this defect?

They said they test fire their guns before leaving the factory. Test fire for what? just to see if it goes boom? Anyone who is a hunter knows the gun you fire need to be sighted in for accuracy as you don't want to wound an animal. So why does this company not be held responsible for their repairs in a timely manner?
