Chicago Top Models posts ads on craigslist for "extras". When you call, the receptionist tells you that all you need to bring in to the office is "any photograph". When you get there and sit down with a consultant/agent, then she/he tells you to get headshots. They have their own photographer, etc. So, I paid $110 and was promised a relationship with this agent (Laura) who would then help me to find work as an extra. Well, Laura does not return phone calls, and the agency doesn't answer its phone. I got a call last week to "come and pick up my CD", which means that I won't be sitting down with Laura, or with any other agent, and I wasted my money on the headshots. To be an "extra" headshots are not necessary.

I am doing the same thing im 17 and my mother paid the $110 & i got my CD of the pictures Laura says she likes my look & is helping me find work. My mom has to pay for the printing of my comp cards also.
