Order for approximately $625 worth of remote control airplane products was placed online at ChiefAircraft.com. The two products purchased were NOT represented on the company's website as either out of stock or on backorder. A VISA credit card was used. Payment was confirmed by the bank the card was drawing from and an order confirmation email was sent by Chief Aircraft on May 7th, at 2:52 PM. The company's website indicates that orders are shipped the same day:
"In stock ground phone orders placed before 4:00 Pm PST are generally shipped the same day."
A couple days later, I called to find out why I received no shipment email notice confirmation. I was told by the customer service representative at Chief Aircraft that the engine would ship out today and the radio transmitter would "probably ship out some time next week". I asked if they had it in stock. She said no- that neither product was in stock at the time of the order and the transmitter would not be in stock until "probably sometime the following week".
This was the first time I placed an order for anything from this company.

More Aggressive Threats From Chief Aircraft Strawman
AUTHOR: betterbiz - ()
SUBMITTED: Saturday, May 11, 2013
Chief Aircraft and its minions of fake online identities are developing a bad reputation for wild accusations and assaultive behavior towards people who experience their deceptive and abusive business tactics. Instead of correcting bogus website information when confronted with their misdeeds, they resort to a barrage of white wash praise of Chief Aircraft and attacks against the persons who've voiced legitimate complaints. The behavior is proof that Chief Aircraft is not interested in changing its abusive and deceptive practices. Certain individuals associated with Chief Aircraft attempt to explain away Chief's misdeeds by suggesting that no business or person is perfect. Consumers such as myself aren't expecting perfect. If you maintain a website knowingly with bogus stocking information to entice people into parking their money with you while they wait for you to produce the product at some unannounced point in the future or for a refund at some future time, you are engaging in fraudulent, deceptive business practices - plain and simple. Dana Blix's company is guilty of this going back years, to the extent that credit card companies have flagged transactions as a result of a high percentage of charge backs. Dana Blix and his likely supporters of family members, employees, and their family members should not be permitted to continue to abuse the credit system and should be banned or suspended by VISA and Mastercard for an extended period of time.

Original complainant has no proof, and states such in his thread on the subject.

Slanders a company over a trivial inconvenience.
It is the complainant you need to beware of, not Chief.
I AM IN NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH CHIEF, HAVE NOT PURCHASED FROM THEM, AND LIVE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY. BUT HAVE READ COUNTLESS ACCOUNTS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS.
