Everything these people are saying is very true. I was an employee for this company. And the things I witnessed is insane. And they continue to get away with it. There is a certain type of abuse I witnessed and heard from the children and other employee's that happens to these children. One is when the staff becomes angry with a particular child. They have the older kids gang up and beat the child up. It's so sad and will bring tears to your eyes. When I commented this to corporate, a week later I was fired for blowing the whistle. The Manager is a liar of the 1st degree, She lies to the employees and children giving them false hope of change. The children are 3rd priority. Omika ( manager) spends most of her time hiding evidence from social workers and Orange county Lic, and has her staff do the same. So many laws are broken here and these houses under her supervision needs to be shut DOWN!!!. Omika steals gifts that were donated to the children and uses them for her personal use and to her Cousin that works in the same house. It's that very cousin who also has the older children beat up the younger ones when she's angry at them. I've witnessed harmful restraints used on the children and I had to sit there and watch those poor kids cry. It's horrible and disturbing. One time the company had a 15 year old boy living there, and before that boy ran away he made a allegation claiming two staff gave him cigarettes on the side of the house to create a buddy system with him. They knew this child had certain concerns with smoking and knew it was something he had a hard time trying to dismiss of. Fortunately he was removed but the incident that took place was down right irresponsible for trusted adults to partake in. The horrible thing is the manager became aware of it and did nothing because the accused was her very own family member working there. What it all sums up to is Omika and her fellow friends terrorize and harass people and ruin lives. What was headquarters thinking when they hired her. It's known that her previous employment at another children facility( trinity) was terminated for wrong shady doings with the children, so my question is how come they didn't do a background check on this woman. I really hope someone with high authority really goes in that house unannounced and see the real deal. I dare anyone who is in the media industry reads these complaints and take action, it's unfair to the children what goes on here.
