Children's Dental Specialists Unethical Business Practices Omaha, Bellevue, Nebraska

On May 12, 2009 I called Childrens Dental Specialist to inquire about their dental services for kids. Before going into details in regards to their services I specifically asked is your dental office apart of our insurance network and they said yes. So after speaking with them for a brief period I decided I would take my kids there for dental services. When we arrived there they had all the usual paperwork lined out for us to sign and again I asked to make sure they were part of our insurance network and again they said yes and clarify to us that they did use our insurance they had a Proposed Treatment Plan that showed there pricing, along with our insurance coverage and finally our cost of $179. After all the procedures were done 2 months later or around 08/04/2009 they sent us a bill showing we owed them $1026 dollars. I immediately called them and asked what was this for and there answer was since they were not a part of my healthcare network we had to pay the out of network price. I then stated that they specifically stated they were part of my health network and I even provided the proposed treatment plan they printed off for me. They said the proposed estimate was an estimate and they only go by what the insurance pays. I then asked them why in the world would I agree to use them and pay an additional $1026 for services I could get for $179 through my network. They pretty much blew me off after that and now they are suing me in court for the balance. If you live in Omaha NE and you're considering a Pediatric Dentist I dont recommend this company at all. They will say and do anything to get your business and stick you with a huge bill at the end Falsified
