Chim Chimnee Master Masonary Chimnee Cricket Kept my $700 deposit and will not return my calls Waterford Michigan

I wish would have checked Ripoff Report prior to calling Chim Chimnee.  If I could rate this company with a zero, I would. A month ago I rushed home to give Jon, the owner of Chim Chimney, a deposit because he urgently said he needed it that day. The check was cashed the very next day. I scheduled a date for service with the office manager. She said that I could have it done at any time, any day. So I scheduled the date. On that day, no one arrived. I called the office and left a message. No one returned my call that day. However, I got a call from Nick the next day. He was assigned to do my work. He said he would be out to my house the following day, again no-show and no call. This went on for several days. In the meantime, the company never called me back, I spoke to the worker Nick each time. Nick had an excuse for everything, he had kidney stones, couldn't find the flu size, yada, yada, yada. I continued to call Chim Chimney, no return call. I finally decided this was not the place that I wanted to do business with and I left a message demanding a refund. Then Jon called me back next day and begged me to give them another chance. I refused. He asked me to think about it and said he would call back in a few hours despite the fact that I told him I wasn't going to change my mind and I wanted my $700 back. He never called back. However, a woman named Deb called back. I told her the same thing, I want my money back. I have called almost daily and left messages, no one calls back. It has been a month and a half since I gave Jon Ceritto my $700. I have since found an honest company who did my work for $500 less! In addition, I have searched this company and found an abundance of complaints. NEVER do business with this company!
