China Guardian employees are liars, thieves and crooks. They are ruthless and will stop at nothing to promote their business including destroying non replacable historical Multimillion dollar art.

They start by giving you a rediculously low price on valuable art objects justifying the figure as the low number will encourage a bidding frenzy. As an example they placed a value on a 400 year old ZHU DA painting under $200,000. when a similiar painting by Zhu Da sold for over $15 Million a year earlier. We believe they put these low prices on the value for two reasons. It allows their special clients to acquire the objects for pennys on the dollar so their special clients can make fantastic profits when they sell the object later. The second reason is for insurance. When they damage the objects they will only need to pay the minimum amount if they are forced to pay at all.

We gave Richard He of China Guardian in New York a Zhu Da painting valued around $12 Million to be sold in Beijing at China Guardians anniversary sale. They gave us a contract in chinese and English. We do not know if the chinese version was the same as the english version but strongly believe that it is significantly different because the chinese version says it is the official contract.

Even though we wanted the painting sold in Beijing, they later came back and said it was going to be put in the Hong Kong auction. China Guardians Hong Kong auction historically has a very low turnout and does not bring good prices. The object did not sell. One reason may be that the sale was not advertised.

The contract listed the value of the painting at under $200,000 with the assurance that it was just a starting bid and that historically the objects sell for anywhere from 10 to 100 times the starting value. Richard He assured us that the ZHU Da would fetch a very high price. It did not sell in Beijing. So they asked us if they could have a new apraisal done in New York and see about putting it up for auction again. this time they wanted to put the value of the painting at around $50,000. We refused to let them auction the object at such a redicious low price. We made arrangements to collect the objects in New York.

When our agent  collected the objects in NY, the objects were packaged for transporting so the agent did not open to  inspect them in New York being assured that if anything was damaged that it was insured.

When the agent dropped the objects at our home and we unpackaged the painting we were Horrified. The $12 Million Zhu Da Painting was destroyed. it had been completely split the entire width of the painting in several places. It was ruined. We immediately contacted Richard He and He said he would have the painting repaired. It is impossible to restore a 400 year old painting to its original condition after the painting is physically split. We said we did not want it repaired becdause the value of the painting once repaired would still be worthless.

Richard He said he would notifhy the insurance company and we should send pictures. We do not believe there is an insurance company because after over a year we still have not heard fromthe insurance company only China Guardian.

China Guardian first said it was the Humidity and then later said that it was not damaged while in custody of China Guardian but they would still repair it. The Photos taken by China guardian clearly show the painting wa in perfect condition and the photos of the painting as it was returned clearly show the damage caused by China Guardian.

Upon further examination we determined that the painting had been bent completely back on it self which could only be deliberate. The timing and circumstances have made us come to the conclusin that china Guardian in New York had delibertly damaged the painting because we refused to let them put it in another auction.

China Guardian has refused to pay for the damages and let us no choice to hire a law firm.  We have been forced to take legal action against China Guardian Beijing and China Guardian in New York and certain individuals that are responsible for destroying purposely this $12M masterpiece.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CHINA GUARDIAN. USE ONE OF THE OTHER AUCTION HOUSES IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY.
