Chip Ellis Motors Ellis Motor Cars "Where They Repo Even If You Pay" Montgomery, Alabama

My wife and I went in because we had a car that was to little for our family. We have 5 kids so we needed something bigger, We saw just what we were looking for, a good size, but good on gas suv a 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie bauer V6. We loved the vehicle and it was in great condition. so We traded in our car on the suv.                                                                                                            

We enjoyed the truck for about 6 months and I had something come up that need to be taking care of so I called and asked if I could be about three weeks late on my payment. They told me that it would be no problem because I have never missed a payment or even been late on a payment before. I told them that I might pay it before the three weeks but I just wanted to be sure I gave myself enough time to take care of everything.                                                                                                                            

 I called and asked how much was the payoff on the truck on Feb.18 and they told me a little over  8,000 so I told them my income tax will be here in about 3 days and I wanted to pay it off. They said ok. Well guess what, I will never forget this day because it was our 5th year Anniversary, and we had just got the kids ready for school, as we walked out the door we notice that the truck was gone. We thought that it had been stolen, but no it had been REPOED!!!! and we were not behind on our payments.

I called the finance company and asked them why they took the vehicle, and they said that they didn't know why the truck was repoed. They said that they were just told to come get it. I told them that I was not behind on the payments, and that they didn't have a reason to come get it. I told them that they can fix the problem on their end, and just tell me when I can come get my truck back. They told me that the finance company would no longer finance us. Why I asked, They said that if they repo a vehicle for any reason that they will no longer finance you.   I told them that they didn't have a reason to repo so they should give it back. They said "NO", so I asked to speak to Chip Ellis and they told me that Chip was the one that told them to come get our vehicle. I was shocked.

 Now as it stand my wife has now lost her job because she has no way to work. I am a very sick with server Diabetes. I have to be in the doctors office constantly, now I haven't been to the doctor since this has happened. The stress that has come from this injustice has taken a toll on my health.

This has to be stopped  before they do it to someone else. (Like You)!!!!!
