I unfortunately had the experience of doing two interviews with Choice Promotional Group. The first "preliminary" interview was maybe 15 minutes and consisted only a few basic questions about myself and a brief overview of the marketing they did. At first I thought it was pretty harmless, and was excited that the head hancho Josh Woodford, called me back to do a second interview.

The second interview consisted of a "day of observation" and had nothing to do with what was discussed during the first interview. It was a miserable day (almost 10 hours) of nothing but door to door sales.

The entire company is a pyramid scheme. They demand ridiculous hours, lie about how they work and how much you earn. If you ask them a legitimate question the interviewer will try to change the subject or just give you fake figures. Their business practices are extremely unethical and their head managers ( Josh and Allison) are shady at best.

In the end, these people are only trying to take you for everything you are worth with no returns. You will end up in debt because they take your money and drained from the 10 hour work days. Choice Promotional Group tries to lure you with big promises of fast money if you work hard, but it is a lie. Do not work for these people!

Side note: Choice Promotional group has moved to King of Prussia and were formerly located in Norristown.
3W marketing, LAM advertising are connected, do not work for these people either!

So glad I gave Choice Promotional Group the benefit of the doubt....

First off, the "report" against Choice Promotional Group is nothing more than some bitter person's emotional rant. I graduated Seton Hall and moved down to Philadelphia and started in the Mortgage industry and when that tanked, I went into financial sales. About 9 months ago, our company was bought out (think Bear Stearns only way smaller scale) and I was again looking for something new. I interviewed with Josh Woodford and he showed me some sports certificates and golf certificates that his company created and sold. I love sports. I love golf. I love people, so sales and marketing seemed like a new career I could at least pursue. Obviously, I was tired of going into industries that were fly by night like real estate, mortgages, and financial sales, so when I got the call to come back to Choice on a 2nd round interview, I was excited.

First thing I did was try and get some info on the company, and sure enough this posting came up. Needless to say, I was very nervous about the 2nd interview with the company. I watch a lot of Big Idea with Donny Deutsch though, and a lot of people that built million dollar businesses were laughed at in the beginning, so I figured "let me see this place with my own eyes." THANK GOD I DID!!

The second interview allowed me to go see a full day of sales calls and let me meet all the people I would be working with. How many comapnies do this??? Bear Stearns, Countrywide Financial, Aflac...I have interviewed at all of them and NOT ONE of them showed me the real job that I'd be performing. I was able to see the good AND bad on the interview, but at least they shot it to me straight at Choice.

Like I said, I LOVE spoorts, golf, etc...so getting to talk about it all day and getting to interact all day without cubicles was something I always wanted, so at night when I came back and they offered me a chance to start I said, "let's go". From the very beginning, I knew I was getting paid commision on sales, I knew EVERYTHING, because they showed it to me.

Anyways, I am now a manager there and am making over $1300 a week and have been here for only 6 months. I have seen people come in here and blame their failures on everything from the clients to Josh to the business model in general, but not once have I seen on this "rip off report" that a person owns up to the fact that they just didn't work hard and that's why they failed.

The backup quarterback always complains to anyone that will listen that he's better than the starter. Terrell Owens blames Donavon for the WHOLE TEAM'S FAILURE....Come on !!!! If you go an interview with Choice you get to see how EVERYTHING works....Ask a Bear Stearns employee if that was true for them too. Ask anyone in my former industries (finance, insurance, real estate) if management was honest with us !! This is the first place I have ever been where everything is completely out in the open. The complaints on this report are completely opinionated from a small minority of disgruntled people that like to blame everyone else for why they aren't successful. In fact, the person that posted first didn't even work there, they just interviewed there.

In summary, I'd rather work with a company that takes me out for 8 hours and shows me the good and bad and then lets me and HELPS me move up with no seniority than ever go back and work with the companies that really ARE shady (finance, real estate, mortgages, insurance, any huge company that has it's own best interest in mind). Does Josh make money when I do well? Absolutely! Does that make it a "pyramid scheme? I ask you this question....When a car salesman sells a car, does the car dealership owner make money too? Does that mean the local Nissan dealership is a pyramid scheme too?

I urge everyone that reads this to make your own opinion....remember we are all here because Columbus didn't listen to the "experts" when they said he'd fall off the Earth's surface. I have never been happier at a job and I have never seen the advancement and brutal honesty that I've received here. Do I work a lot ? Yes. Is it paying off with money and career growth? Yes. And that's all you can ask for these days, where most people get screwed day in and day out by these big companies that don't give a darn about employee #4275....

Do not get involved with this company. I personally know Josh, and though he is not a bad guy, this kind of work should be illegal as it will put you in debt faster than you can imagine. 3W Marketing and Choice Promotions = Very Bad Decisions.
