I read my e-mails after requesting price and info on a ford ranger p/u 8.8posi 355 geared rear axle.Brandon Girard of Chris auto recyclers offer $300.00 with shipping.I sent my money order and a rear axle came by truck. The rear axle they sent was for an Explorer/Expedition,the axle of the Ranger bolts in under the leaf spring, the axle they sent bolts in on top of the springs. No brake drums,no info tag on cover? Incomplete rear stabilizer from an Explorer/Expedition.So I refused the shipment and told the driver send it back,I then immediately called and spoke to Ryan, Ryan is the person I always spoke to,Brandon was always busy with a customer or not there. Ryan said he tried to call me back (nothing showed up on my caller I.D. or recorder)as I had requested a full refund,a money order arrives for $200.00 not $300.00.I called ,Ryan answered and said as usual Brandon was not there , so I called another phone number with a different area code Ryan answered this phone also. They have 3 different area codes for this business.I asked to speak to Brandon and he was available at this #,when I said who I was we got disconnected.I called back, got Brandon who sounds like Ryan and asked where is my $100.00.They said they kept it for their shipping costs. They said I get nothing But my $200.00.I said I will give them a bad review,Brandon screamed are you "Threatening me"! then stated he would ruin my reputation and say nasty things about me,Please Do!!! I am stating documented facts, anything Brandon & co. says may be slanderous commentary!! I have attoney's waiting!! NO threat , just legal. Some businesses make mistakes but, they usually don't screw the consumer because of an ignorant, incompetent employee that can not tell the diference between a ranger and an explorer,or the difference of a top/ bottom spring mounted rear axle, they should retrain, hire more competent-knowledgeable staff, OR close-up shop! I feel screwed out of my hard earned money for someone elses mistake.I hope you learn from my mitake with this company. The many #'s are (972)923-3517 - (469)575-6169 - (214)802-0679,CALL to reach Brandon/Ryan. No 1-800,but 3 different area codes, shouldv'e been a red flag for me

We did not send the incorrect part.

First off, I would like to say that the rear axle assembly was pulled off after it was purchased. It was pulled off a salvaged Ford Ranger. If tags are missing on the rear ends then we verify the gear ratio and ring gear size with a local dealership. Rear axle assemblies are not guaranteed to have lines, cables, drums, rotors, or brakes. If the rear end does have those items they were left on for convenience only, and those parts do not carry any warranty.
Second, Rangers do have a rear sway bar. If you do a little research you will see that you can buy an OEM rear sway bar for a Ford Ranger from Ford. The rear sway bar interchanges from 90-09 Ranger. Not to many of them had a rear sway bar, but few did.
Third, our main phone number is 972-923-3517. The phone number 469-575-6169 was a phone number that was added for a short period of time and is now our fax number. Phone number 214-802-0679 was a cell phone number that was used back then. We have 2 main phone numbers 972-923-3517 and 972-937-2704. That is what the phone company gave us and that is what we use. All phones are in our office at hands reach.
Fourth, Im sorry that Ryan sounded like Brandon. At the time, Ryan was our main counterman. Manager(Brandon) is in and out of the office during the day so at the time you call he may not be available. The best thing to do is leave a name and phone number and you will get a call back when he gets a chance.
Fifth, no one wants to leave bad reviews about you. That is not our concern.
Sixth, it states in all our emails that customers are responsible for return shipping. The rear axle assembly was not incorrect. Explorers 95 and newer have disc brakes, and all Expeditions have disc brakes. The rear axle assembly we sent did not have disc brakes. We tired to explain this to the customer but he was convinced that the rear end was not correct because it had a rear sway bar.
