In a recent move in Texas we received a call from Chris Booth. In search of a moving company, somehow Chris got my phone number and offered his services to assist with the move. He was very friendly and seemed to be reliable and honest. He sahred that he had a website where we could verify his company and that he was a licensed business that offered FULL protection and insurance on our property. My previously hired moving company [Boss Moving - Dallas, Texas] failed to show up for the job, so I called Chris back and arranged to have 3 movers come assist in moving my belongings.

Concerned about my belongings I made the wise decision not to label any of the boxes. It was a small move so I figured it would be easy to open boxes and determine where they should go. I am glad I did so because I did not want the movers knowing what was in the boxes they were moving.

To my surprise the 3 movers showed up on time and were very fast in getting items loaded and into the truck to prepare the move to my new apartment. I made sure to tape all of the drawers to my nightstands [that go in the master bedroom], as well as the armoire drawers - because I still had a few items in the drawers. HUGE mistake.

Upon arriving to the apartment I began putting a few large items away, directing two of the three movers on where I wanted my furniture when I heard a noise in the bedroom. When I went in, I noticed the third mover putting items into my night stand drawer. I asked him what he was doing and why he opened the drawer, he explained that he thought some items were falling out of the back of the nightstand and he was just putting them back in. My fiance came into the room and assisted him in putting the few pens and items back into the drawer, re-taped it, and asked him to finish the job.

Sadly almost 5 days later I went to set up the master bedroom and begin unboxing clothes and accessories when I noticed my Nintendo DS Lite, all of the accessories and 8 games were gone. I cried very hard for almost an hour. How could this happen? I had been so careful and tried to protect myself. I trusted Chris to bring these people into my home and assist me in a move that should have gone without a hitch. They stole something very important to me. It was a graduation gift from acheiving my Masters Degree not more than 9 months ago! Now it was gone. Game systems are much like computers in that all of my saved game play was also gone! I cannot replace any of it.

I won't allow this to happen anyone else. PLEASE do not use Chris Booth or DFWMOVEMASTERS.com services! He is a liar and a crook. This theft occured on April 24, 2010. I called Chris immedietly to discuss how I could recover my property or be compensated. He never returned not one call. I believe he knows what his movers did. They are all thieves.

I refuse to let this go. I gave Chris 48 hours to respond to my phone messages, of course he did not. I called the police and filed a police report for my missing property. It is recorded with the Prosper Police Department in Prosper, TX - Report#: 10002471. Chris does not have to answer my calls, however I now have his personal information [including his home address thank you to the internet], so as advised by the police I am filing this week a civil suit against Chris for my personal property and fraud. It is WORTH the filing fee. I won't let him get away with this, I will get justice through the courts.

In addition Chris will answer to God. How dare you take advantage of your position as a business owner to commit theft and fraud! See you in court Chris! I hope there are others that will stand up and do the same.

Here is the "REAL" BBB (Better Business) report on Move Masters owned by Chris Booth. Copy & paste that into your address bar my religious brother of the cloth. Ye eyes will unfold on his blessing.

The BBB report clearly shows someone is trying real hard to mislead the trust of the public. Shame on you Mr. Booth.

As in my previous posting I smelt smoke in Texas and it seems Mr. Jeff Davis is the real fireman here to put out the flames.

Or mover. I mean, The Bible isn't super specific on this point I think movers count too. See, unless there's a different Better Business Bureau I think you have your facts wrong. Not like a little bit wrong either.

Seeing smoke signals in Texas from Boston from local moving company trying to cover up the fires!

AUTHOR: Adam - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 25, 2011

As a potential transplant to Texas looking for a moving company to move my family I ran across this posting doing some research on my own.

Seems to me an official police report is evidence enough that the DFW Move Masters owner is possibly covering up fires to keep from getting burned up.

Just because you wear a uniform doesn't mean you are honest. Law enforcement high ranking officials, prosecuting DAs, politicians and even priests break the law. Why not a soldier??? As my grand daddy always said, where there is smoke there is fire. Seems to be smoking a lot in Texas.

Seems this company had someone go online to try to make it look better.

My advice, clean your act up and no one will report negative feed back on your company.Just a little food for thought.

Through research before stumbling across this report, I saw this company's BBB (Better Business Bureau) report in the Dallas, TX area. I think the BBB report on this company speaks loud & clear that the DFW Move Master's owner isn't doing things with the consumer's best interest in mind. Too many complaints filed in such a short period of time to claim someone is trying to target this company??? I mean 8 complaints filed in less than a year isn't something to ignore. When I see other companies in the Dallas, TX area that have 0, 1 or even 2 complaints over a 36 month period I find that you just can't make everyone happy. The State of Texas records show this company has been in business for less than 1 year. This company may be on target for 24 complaints over 36 months in business with the way the owner is conducting his business.

Again, clean up your business & no one will report you for bad business practices. STOP PLAYING WITH FIRE....YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET BURNED!

As for myself my search for a mover continues on. Good luck on your move Angela. I hope you aren't number 9 on the BBB report! I know I'm not going to be.LOL

Interesting Information

AUTHOR: Angela Scott - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, January 20, 2011

Just wanted to point out that both bad reviews were made on the same day. This justifies the fact that the reviews seem false. How much stuff do you have on a move that lasts from noon until the next day?

You are a liar, sir. I am using this company next week for sure now because I cannot find one other bad thing about them online. As for the fact that you "cried very hard for almost an hour" is pretty funny unless you are 5. Sorry about your game system. Ask Santa for one.

This stuff is hilarious and just too far fetched to be true. "Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not deceieve one another." Lev 19:11...and that was YOUR quote. Better go to confession.

Thanks for your time.

Chris Booth owner of DFW Move Masters aka Always Forward, Inc. www.dfwmovwmasters.com is not being honest, deceitful, con-artist, not a Army veteran & a convicted criminal in Collin County, Texas

AUTHOR: Tommy Dean - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, November 19, 2010

I am the friend of the person that reported this report on Chris Booth of DFW Move Masters aka Always Forward & www.dfwmovemasters.com . I did some research on Chris Booth's Army history. Seems Chris Booth isn't being honest. He started his company in 2009. Through Army military sources Chris Booth only served active duty for less than a year before owning his moving company. Chris Booth was deployed one time prior to owning his company DFW Move Masters . Chris Booth was to report for active reserve and never reported. Army officials confirmed that Chris Booth was a army infantry solider and not a battalion movement & logistics specialist as he claims. The picture of Chris Booth with General Patreas was a publicity stunt put on handing out a bronze star. Here is what it takes to receive a bronze star in Iraq:

Effective immediately, bronze campaign stars are now required on the Iraq Campaign Medal. At least one bronze campaign star must be on this award. If a service member has served at least one single day in any designated campaign (see below), that service member has earned a bronze campaign star for that period.

Army sources confirmed that Chris Booth never saw a day of combat. Chris Booth was NOT deployed during this time he do the move for my friend. Chris Booth is playing on the American people's sympathy hoping they think he is a honest guy when he is not. Chris Booth is a disgrace to the brave men & women who have given their lives defending our freedom & the ones who are currently serving overseas today.

Here is proof that Chris Booth was not deployed during this time. Chris Booth was arrested in Collin County by the Allen Police for DWI on 11/25/2009 and was convicted on 02/18/2010. Convicted felons cannot be in the Army neither a convicted DWI. The case number was 004-89834-09. Chris Booth was sentenced to jail & fines. This is all public records online through the Collin County Courts.

Chris Booth is dishonest, a liar, a thief & not an American hero. I would choose another company if looking for an honest moving company, but that's my opinion.

Thank you for your time reading my report.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

At a complete loss for words however I found some. Here they are. Warning I get a little worked up at the end.

AUTHOR: Moving Company - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, October 07, 2010

I originally was not going to respond to this report. However it really wears on me the way I have been treated and charaterized by this person. It is my belief that this was a complete hoax in order to extort money from me and recieve a free move. I did do a last minute move for them when Boss Moving failed to show on their moving day.

Honestly I did not want to do the move for them. I was out of town on vacation when they called and had my crews all lined out for the weekend. They were in need of help and I could not say no. Anyone that know me knows that I am completely selfless when it comes to helping others.

After the move I never recieved any phone calls, messages or notice from them that they were missing any items. A fact I later proved by my phone records. We were only alerted to this by a fellow moving company that let us know that this person was posting negative reviews about us on Craigslist. I called and discussed the issue with them and with the crew that was on the job. The crew that I had on this job is a very good crew that has been with me for sometime. We have never been accused of anything like this.

Immeadately upon finding out about this situation I contacted the customer and although I believed that the claim was completely bogus I agreed to mailed them a check for $400 dollars to cover their lose. The check was given to them under the agreement that when they found their missing property the money would be returned to us. It was my belief that since half of their stuff went to storage the items that they were looking for are in a box in the storage unit.

I was not on the move, I wasn't even in town when their move was done. How I could be accused of stealing from them is beyond me. Unless you are to believe that between deployments I operate a moving company with the directive to my employees to steal worthless junk and leave the true valuables behind.

I believe I handled the situation as I should have. For a person like this, whom has actually be convicted of theft, to say that I am a liar, a crook, a theft, a con artist, a criminal and that I commited fraud. Is a representation of everything that is wrong with our world today.

Everything I have said here is the truth and can be verified by this customer:
