Chris Gallegos, owner of Idaho Wall and Ceiling Finishes, took my money and did not complete the drywall job he was contracted to complete. His original bid said it would take 3 weeks to complete the job. Due to construction delays he began the drywall job on October 9, 2017.  By December 31,2017 he was over his bid and almost 3.5 months late in its completion. He assured me that he could complete the job by January 31,2018 for an additional money. I agreed to this realizing that bringing in another drywall contractor would most likely cost more due to the supply and demand for this trade at the time.  He stated that he needed to get his crew paid and a check was issued on January 5, 2017. On January 22 2017 he said he needed additional money to pay the only crew member he had working at that time. I refused and he walked off the job and never returned. All subsequent texts and emails to him, by my wife and myself, have never been returned.
