I felt like I had found a wonderful photographer. Chris McCallister really seemed to really care about the people he photgraphed and I hoped a found someone that could photgraph my new family for life. I hired him early in 2006 for my wedding in the spring of 2007. He took my engagement photos in September of 2006. About 2 weeks before my wedding he contacted me to request payment be made in full prior to wedding date. I sent it out right away.
Chris showed up early for the wedding and scouted out photo spots early in the day. He told me shortly before my wedding he was shutting down his photgraphy business and moving to Texas to work in insurance. But not to worry that he should have my iamges to me within a few weeks. He even told he has a wedding the weekend after mine & he would probably edit my images that next weekend and get them to me right away. H assured me even if he got behind, he would get my images to me.
A little over a month after my wedding he put a blog on his website stating his company no longer existed and he had 7 weddings to complete. He asked for clients to email him and provide current information so he coudl get the images to the correct address. I did this right away and continued to patiently wait. Two months, three months, now almost four months have gone by. I have never received a return email or phone calls to any of my emails or messages.
Yesterday I searched his name and found 2 other brides who are also waiting for their wedding photos. One has been waiting for seven months and the other for over 9 months. Now I am worred that I will never get my photos. Chris seemed so nice and he talked about his faith and his family. I never thought this may happen. I hope to find him and get my images sometime soon.

Well I hope that the news I heard from Chris is exactly what will happen. I have continued to search weekly for my missing phtographer. Every once in awhile I get an email from another bride who also used Chris & has not heard from him either. Yesterday I was able to get an email address for him & I quickly sent an email. He responded last night and told me "he was working on the images as qucikly as possible". (I have now been married almost 5 months) So I am on Chris's list and he could not tell me when I will receive my pictures. But I at least hope that I will be getting them sometime this year. Chris is no longer a photographer so hopefully other brides will not have to wait like I and many others have.
