Christian Prayer Center Pastor John Carlson Pay for prayer rip-off Seattle Washington

     I mistakenly acessed the web site for Christian Prayer Center while looking for a reputable ministry. I now see

the Christian Prayer Center headed by Pastor John Carlson, may be positioning itself near the website of reputable

ministries to deceive people on the internet. I put in my prayer request and I discovered they were asking for a

credit card donation. I entered my credit card information and submitted the amount before I realized this was not

the ministry I thought I had accessed. I tried to get a cancellation of the transaction by calling the customer contact

number but kept getting a recording which asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card. I sent an email but received

no response. Finally I contacted my credit card provider and reported this as a fraudulent transaction. The credit card

company is issuing me a new credit card number and placing a fraud alert against this and any further attempts by

the Christian Prayer Center to make unauthorized charges against my credit card. I'm filing this report to alert others

that they don't have to be helpless victims of this online scam by a fake Christian ministry.
