Well stated rebuttal! I met my wife on CM after being a member for only 1 month. It was the best investment of my life! Thank you Christian Mingle!!!

All the "free" things you get for joining are pretty much useless! i mean its fun to look at pictures of people but the whole point of joining and filling out all that crap is to CONTACT someone you may like. Meanwhile, unless you hand over $30 a month all we're doing is populating your website with a bunch of profiles!

How many emails does it take to actually meet someone in person? Maybe one, maybe 100! I would guess that the avg is around 20-30. So you advertise your "free to join" website and you can do everything except the only thing that matters, being able to contact someone!

You can't give new members ONE Free email a day? Are you really that scared that someone is going to write ONE email and find "that perfect match" and never log on again? REALLY?

why don't you just be HONEST and say that you can join for free, and make it look like Christianmingle has a boatload of members, but you have to shell out $30 if you want to contact someone?!!

OR, if you were smart, (BIG IF)! You would realize that someone may have to send out 100 emails to finally meet someone and give people one free email a day. IF you were smart you would do that. If one out of 1,000 people gets lucky and finds "Gods match" on their first try you would lose that $30 subscription but you would gain 100 subscriptions if people got one free email a day to get hooked on the fun of your site and then signed up. And you probably would do much better than only 10%.

So if you sacrifice $30 you gain $3,000 and no one feels "ripped off". DUH. You do the math. What's better? A bunch of empty profiles from people who feel ripped off, or an extra $3,000 A MONTH from the people that got a free email a day and liked your service, which would be populated with completed profiles? Whoever is marketing your product should be fired!
