Christine and Vince Maniscalco, Bright Star Elderly Care Taking advantage of the Elderly Escondido California

 Our family at the time was going through crisis.  We were dealing with my father’s Parkinson’s disease and my sister was dying from a failing liver.  We obtained services from Brightstar, Vince and Christine Maniscalco, to help care for my father.  Our time was split between my sister and father and we needed help.  Vince and Christine Maniscalco, seemed to be a blessing at the time.  Once my sister passed away we no longer required services so we let them go.  I received a phone call from Chris Maniscalco, saying she needed  payment in cash.  I asked why she obtained my debit information if she wasn’t going to debit the account.   She said she didn’t have any debit information from me (I knew I gave it to her).  I didn’t argue, I paid it.    About four month later we noticed she debited the account for services again.  We attempted to contact her, but they told us she is no longer was with the company.  A few month later we received a letter from them saying our financial information was missing from the file.  They believe that Vince and Chris Maniscalco took this information with them when they left.  They recommended we take the necessary steps to protect ourselves, so we did.   I’m writing this to hopefully save someone from losing hundreds of dollars like we did.  I don’t know that I would ever give debit information again.  I will pay by check each month.
