I contacted Chromabonito in June of 09 to have my 68 Cougar front bumper and side marker light re chromed. I only live about 36 miles south of West Covina, so I thought I could drop it off when I was up that way. They told me they would pick it up at my house for no charge which was great. They came by the next day and took the parts. They wanted payment up front since they ship the parts back Via UPS. (!st red Flag) They told me the parts would be returned in about 10 days.
After a couple weeks of not getting the parts I started my endless try of contacting them. They were also selling on Ebay at the time and finally responded to an Email through Ebay. They told me the parts were shipped and the shipment must of got lost. They gave me a bogus tracking number that was not close to a legit number.
I started to check into the company and discovered this has happened to dozens of people and the BBB has them under an F rating. The business address is a PO Box a UPS store. I ended up doing a reverse look-up on the business phone (626) 941-4133 and was able to determine it was a land line at a residence in La Puente CA. 91744. The address is 201 Hillcrest Dr.
I was also able to find out the the Juan Treminio is the owner of Chromabonito and resides at the above address. Another phone number at this residence (626) 964-6683.
Once I contacted Juan with a demand letter sent to his home address I was able to get my bumper returned. Juan never did give me my marker light back, but I took him to small claims and won. Of course he did not pay, but I tracked what bank he had cashed my check. I had a levy put on the account and received my money plus all my expenses.
I just want to help out anyone that has been ripped off by this dirt bag! Hope this helps someone out there.

Did not use a lawyer since I am in Southern California. Lots of good sites on the web telling you step by step what to do. The important thing is to send a demand letter (you will need to send registered mail with return receipt). If he does not respond to that he is dead in court. He might not sign for the registered mail since he has been through this so many times. Then you will have to pay a process server. The good thing is all your expenses can be added to your claim. You can even request your small claims case online instead of going to West Covina courthouse if your not close. If there is any info I can give you let me know.

Same situation- 6 months, lies, fake UPS tracking numbers, etc.
ANY help you can supply would be GREAT!
For the record- Juan Treminio is the alleged owner of this 'operation'. Classic Chrome, JT Chrome, Chrome, Chrome4U, Bumpers and Grilles, Best Chrome. Sells on ebay as gensoh_1 and one other name. He goes to many of the automotive swap meets with 'his' bumpers.
I will be contacting the AG and various others in the area to get this resolved.

If you have any doubts about this company, and you should. Check them out with the BBB. Their (F) rating and complaints tell it all. The only way I was able to get my money back was to put a lien on his personal bank account. You can only do that if you won your court case and showed receipts for expenses. This guy will lie about the time of day!

WE REFUNDED HIS MONEY EVEN THOUGH HE GOT HIS BUMPER CHROMED. HE GAVE A DIE CAST PIECE THAT WAS NOT GOOD FOR CHROME. SO WE OFFERED TO RETURN IT TO HIM AND HIS $45 HE PAYED AND INSTEAD HE SUED US FOR $250 FOR IT AND WE PAYED IT THROUGH A MONEY ORDER TO HIM. HE NEVER SH0WED A RECIET AND HE RIPPED US OF THE DIFFERENCE. SO HE SHOULD NOT BE TALKING.
