CHRPAY.COM - MEYROCORP - ANTI-VIRUS PRO 2009 Warning on screen said my computer infected with virus. It said I need to download Anti-Virus Pro 2009 to remove the virus for 79.95 Gave my credit card number & site said email will tell me what to do next. (No email received) Clicked on "contact" button, no phone number. I've been scammed!! Internet

My computer screen kept showing a message that said my computer was infected with a virus and that I need to download a program to remove the virus. The name of the program was Anti-Virus Pro 2009. I thought it was a good idea because right before that I had been having problems with the computer. I gave my credit card number on the secure website, which had all the earmarks of being secure, and was informed an email would be sent to my inbox which would give me further instructions. The program cost $79.95. I checked my email and no email was received showing I paid and what to do next. I registered my name and other info they asked for and clicked on the button to start the process of removing the virus and nothing happened. I checked my email again, no email from Anti-Virus Pro 2009. I clicked on the "contact" button but there was no phone number for me to call. Realizing I'd been scammed by a fraudulent company, I called my credit card company and filed a dispute to get the 79.95 charge refunded.

My credit card company refunded the disputed charge to my credit card for 79.95 plus interest that was paid to chrpay.com meyrocorp anti-virus pro 2009.
