CHS Convention Housing Services BEWARE OF CHS - THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND CANCEL RESERVATIONS WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE Henderson, Nevada

The day after we booked a booth for a Trade Show in San Diego, CHS Convention Housing Services called stating they were the official hotel booking company for the convention.  This was their first lie.  We booked 2 hotel rooms and signed an agreement with them.  Their representative said he got us the best rates.  This was their second lie.   They immediately charged our credit card for the entire amount.  They did not send a confirmation which I found a bit odd.
Later, I asked to book an additional day - no response.  I looked them up online and discovered many complaints about this company and got nervous.  I called and left many messages - no response until I told the receptionist I saw all the bad reviews.  I was immediately transferred to a sales person who said the reviews were bogus ones from their competitors - third lie.  He said he would book the additional days and sent me a blank contract to sign.  I sent him an email asked him to fill in the dates, Hotel Name and room price on the contract.  I told him I wouldn't sign a blank contract.  He never replied.  I called the hotel.  They confirmed the rooms were booked - but not the additional day.  They said it was booked through Miki Travel LLC located in England not CHS.  I asked for a reservation confirmation, but the hotel said it had to come from Miki Travel.  I contacted Miki Travel and they said CHS had to send us the confirmation.  Again, I emailed CHS asking for a confirmation - no response.

One week before we were to attend the Convention, I called the hotel and they said our rooms were cancelled!  If I hadn't checked, we would have arrived at the hotel to discover we had no rooms reserved.  The hotel was fully booked.  They made reservations for us at another hotel - but now we have to try to recover our money from CHS.  I hope you are smart enough to check the web before you deal with this company.
