My husband and I have taken our 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe into Chuck Clancy Chevrolet to have items such as Throttle Body, ABS Module, Power Windows, Security fixed. I am still having issues with these items and I was told that the ABS module could be fixed for a Customer Appreciation discount of 50/50. I was told by someone in the service department that it would be a total of $100 to fix the problem (which I have recorded. Then 7 hours after I dropped my vehicle off I was given a call and told that $100 would not be the price due to it being a 50/50 split with Chevrolet. I advised the service manager that I was advised in 2 conversations the price would be $100 not $600-$750 and how am I supposed to know that $100 is not the 50/50 split. My vehicle is still not fixed due to the inflation in price
After taking my vehicle in to get the Security system fixed my dash was not put in correctly causing my radio to only work occasionally and the security system still does not work correctly. I have spoken with the service department and told on several occasions that it was not their fault.

Also the Chuck Clancy dealership that closed down in Cartersville was the Chevrolet division. I am not the only one that has had issue's with this dealership and are treated the same. The internet net and word of mouth are powerful tools.

It is funny that there is another response 5 years later. The dealership is no longer in Cartersville due to closing down. For a dealership that warranty's there work they never did. Since they want to bring up old business the radio issue was found out by an auto body shop that had to repair my vehicle due to a wreck, they found that the radio wires were pinched and would cause it to not work properly. The whole time that I was speaking with Chuck Clancy they refused to go back in and look at it instead they kept telling me that the radio was going out. To this day I have the same radio and it is working properly since Candy Apple Customs un-pinched the wires. I also had my driver side window repair twice by Chuck Clancy and the regulator replaced. As of last Thursday the window has stopped working again. Would I recommend this dealership, NO! They can make as many excuses that they want to but in this case their customer service was deplorable.

When it comes to going above and beyond for all our customers here at Chuck Clancy Chrysler Jeep Dodge there are no exceptions. We value everyone that does business with us and have the reputation as the "Home Town" dealer that cares.
Their are a half dozen employees that have been here for over 20 years because it is also a great place to work.
When it comes to service we face customers that sometimes are in a bit of jam because of unexpected issues that come about. When we are faced with a customer that has one of these issues we stride to rectify the problem using the most cost effective solution. Sometimes when the mechanic actually starts to fix the issue they will notice other items that could also be responsible for the issue or contributing to it that need to be fixed to call the job completed or a successful fix. Their job is to make sure they fix the problem and also point out any parts that look faulty so the owner of that vehicle is aware of what they may expect in the near future. If their is a rare case of not reaching someone's expectations we have an open door policy and urge customers to voice their concerns directly to a staffing manager to make sure it is taken care of promptly.
Our goal here is simple, to exceed customers expectations and to delivery customer service that sets bar anywhere else.

Hmmm. I'm wondering who wrote the rebuttal from Chuck Clancy. The fact that whomever it was can not spell, use proper grammar, nor punctuate correctly leads me to believe it was a 5 year old child. There is no way I could, nor would, do business with such an illiterate. Due to this fact alone I would tend to believe the original poster rather than the business. In other words, as a consumer, I feel that the representative from Chuch Clancy is a liar and the poster is truthful in this matter.

We have met with Chuck Clancy on several occasions along with phone conversations. Chuck Clancy has not contacted us since the issue has come about. The issue's were more than the security system, which we had no problem paying and we did. The main issues were the problems that they stated that they didn't cause and wouldn't fix even though the problems arouse the same day after Chuck Clancy repaired our vehicle, as you can see in the original report filed on 9/24/07.
I am not using Rip off Report to trash Chuck Clancy's name I am using it so that I can make other consumers aware of issues that I have had with Chuck Clancy.
I also have still not received their rebuttal from the BBB which is the BBB that was referred by our area and even though they have been a member since July of 2007 and it is now April of 2008.
If Chuck Clancy wants to resolve this issue they have our phone number in the meantime we will purchase our new vehicles along with the services at another location.

this customer is upset due to the fact that they had to pay for something.we filed with the better bussiness a rebutal. there is no basis for this claim other that the customer did't want to pay I have offered several time to meet with this customer and they have never contacted me they filed a complaint with the atlanta better business bureau we are about 70 miles away from that firm but we joined just so we could answer the customer we never recived the complaint until several months later and we did file a responce.
This customer is using ripoff report just to trash are name we will still be glad to meet this customer face to face if they still even oun the car. We do not set the warranty standard for General Motors If there was anything wrong with some thing we did we will be glad to look at the problem but to the best of my knowledge all we did was to tell the customer that gm would not pay for the repair and they would have to pay as the security system was not a factory option but a dealer option and the dealer who installed the security system is no loger in bussiness

My husband and I have been a customer with Chuck Clancy/Main Street Chevrolet since 2001. I was not quoted $500 or my husband and I would have considered using the service with Chuck Clancy, we were in fact quoted around $1500 from Chuck Clancy and Chevrolet Corp.
Also the fact that Chuck Clancy did not respond to the claim to the BBB did not sit well with my family.

We at Chuck Clancy work very hard to make our customers happy. We did not sell you this car, we just recently became a Chevrolet dealer. If we tried to help you and you felt we didn't, I am sorry.
The fact is that the manufacturer denied your claim and requested you pay the $5oo.oo and we in good faith were willing to share the cost evevn though we had no prior history of you as a customer of ours.
