Got the 800 for cingular, called and thought I was talking to Cingular. It is a company called Inphonic, spoke to Shameka Taylor, who said that this Motorola phone is free to use for one month and if I don't like it to return to Company within the one month period.

I decided after three days of receiving the phone which was activated on my contract, the day I ordered it, to return it.

I called Cingular to find out where I can return the phone and they said I ordered the phone from another company and I could not return this phone to their company store.

In the mail, now comes the cingular welcome package showing the $36 activation fee, $39.99 monthly charge and after taxes $98.34 for the first month to use this phone.

I called the 800 number to Inphonic/Cingular and there is no way to reach a customer service person. Cingular said all I can do is mail the phone back to where it came from (lable included to send back), however they may not open the box up for weeks. After 30 days there is $150 cancelation fee.

I was lied to by Shameka Taylor and Inphonic as well as Cingular, regarding a free one month period to try the phone. Nothing was said about the first month fees. Now they have my social security number and credit card number. This is like being robbed with your hands tied!
