Cingular Wirless has by far the worst cellular service there is. As a former employee, we were told if adjustment are legitimate or if a credit is due to make the credit. I have been told that now they are getting away from giving credits whether due or not due to the overwhelming number of customers leaving their company.

I have also been told by several current employee that their is a new rule in place, If the manager feels the credit on a customer's account was not valid or unworthy, that manager will credit the account and make the operator call the customer back and tell them it has been reversed even after the customer's account showed the credit. Also know as a former employee that the company's answer to questions will vary upon who you speak with.

If you call four different times, you will get four different answers. Operators are being trained and told one thing and once they go on the phone are being reprimanded for the same thing they were told during training. Their turnover rate for operators are very high. On the average I am being told that an operator may stay there 2-3 months. I urge customer to cancel and pay the cancellation fee, no matter what it cost and go to another company as well as anyone thinking of applying to the company to not do it.

For starters I think that guy is just really mad that he lost the best job that he every had. Cingular Wireless is one of the best companies to work for. They are not twisted and deceptive as that jerk makes them out to be. Cingular treats their customers as well as their employees with the upmost respect and hospitality. That guy needs to be quite because he probably got himself fired and is just mad that he lost the best job he ever had. GO Cingular!!!!

Firstly, it seems strange that, although you claim your allegations are based on previous employment, you begin your complaints with "I have been told". As you also refrained from disclosing the reason for your break from employment, one may assume that you left under unfavorable terms, and with such assumption it seems clear that this report may simply be revenge and not fact. Again this is an assumption, much like the assumptions you have made, based on hearsay.

I am currently a cingular employee, and can assure you in the New Orleans market no such regulations or guidelines are in place. If a credit is due a customer, a credit is due a customer, end of discussion. I have had firsthand experience with a few billing problems (no system is perfect, as any other cell carrier can tell you) and in most cases the matter was handled promptly and fairly to the benefit of both customer and company. Again, I am not sure where you got your information, but I assure you it is neither firsthand nor accurate.
