I have asked for and paid for insurance on 2 phones for the past 3 years. Yet everytime I have a problem and call to have a phone fixed/replaced, they tell me I do not have insurance on my phones. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES! After the 1st time this happened, I would call cutomer service once in a while to make sure I had insurance and would be assured that I did. I would also check my bill online and make sure it said I had insurance.

But whenever I have a problem, !!abracadabra!!, my insurance disappears!Yesterday, they tried to act like they were doing me a favor and would put insurance on my phones, but would have to BACK CHARGE ME for the last three months! They actually thought I should be thankful to be DOUBLE BILLED!!

They don't seem to update their records either. After BOTH of the Motorola phones on my plan had to be replaced, which cingular sent to me, they still had the Sony phone that I had 3 years ago as the phone on my plan!
And they NEVER admit error. I had to deal with a sniveling condescending wipe by the name of Jay yesterday. He was supposedly a supervisor. I couldn't deal with him at all. I found him to be quite offensive. I am still waiting for his supervisor to call me back.

The good news is that I called Motorola directly about the problem and they were WONDERFUL! The problem is being fixed for free!

I can't wait for my contract to be up. I will NEVER do business with cingular again! I advise everyone to stay away from them. They lie, cheat and steal.
