RE: Account XXXXXXX referencing Cingular Wireless Account XXXXXXXXX
Please discontinue contacting me at my primary residential phone. I am only a boarder at this residence and it causes more confusion than what the cost of the call is worth. As of the hours between 3p.m. and 5 p.m , 07/28/04, when a phone call came in here, from someone representing themselves as affiliated with your company, I feel it will be in our best interests to work this out without having to involve the Federal Trade Commission and future confusion.

I am requesting from you all documentation substantiating my financial obligation contractually to the debt you acquired from Cingular Wireless in my name. There has been confusion from the beginning surrounding the billing procedures and applicable charges that accumulated to such an enormous debt. I am not alone in the quandary, as my research in the matter has evidenced.

I am hoping to resolve this as much amicably and with civility. Last nights phone call ended abruptly, but your representative made me feel defensive in his tone and approach of the subject matter he wished to discuss. Frankly, we all fall on bad times. Some of the worst of those have been caused in trusting in the word and representations of others.

Please excuse me for making such a request of you, as per your representative; my poor credit rating speaks more of my character than any other of my life's work. Actually, I have maintained it at good until my recent stay in the Western NY area, where due to the outrageous cost of fuel, and other more domestic problems, I suffered a financial set back. My credit score is slightly below good my less than a point and your representative was quite stern as to the cause and effect scenario if I did not play ball. Honestly, it felt just like extortion and I was not about to fall prey to that again. That old game has taken enough food out of my kid's mouths.

In closing, I wish to communicate with you as politely as possible in the future where we can both sit down and crunch some numbers. I will donate blood for $20.00 a unit to pay this bill off, but I will not be able to work out an agreement on the telephone who can not provide me the proper credentials or assurance I am not being scammed again.

Have you looked at the consumer websites regarding Cingular Wireless? I thought I was getting on board with the Cingular Nation as per their advertisements and a utility provider. I had no idea it was so deregulated and not at all an exact science. One would think, that a Vietnam Era telecommunication system would be more proliferated before it was to be sold and servicing the general public.

Now I guess I am just being silly. Good luck to you in your endeavor and I hope to hear from you soon in the matter of the above account/s (I better be sure to report both those numbers to the credit reporting service when I get that paid off or this could just be the cause of a stress overload.).

I have contacted Cingular Wireless by registered mail, and at the proper address. Your rep was quick to imply out to me the fact that the only address available on the bill and at my disposal at the time of my original registered mail communication was incorrect. He did not give it away though so you can take comfort in that.

I looked one up through consumerunion.com and had no recourse but to file Form 475 with the FCC. You see, I truly am lost in this. I see these things on 20/20 and work my tail off in hopes it will never happen to me, but every once in a while life throws you a curve ball. I am not employed at present due to my relocation and have no possessions valued over $1,000.00. The wreck I drove from NY to FL is more so now.

This is a start over for me and the Cingular Wireless thing is the tail end of a very nasty comet ride. God bless and hope to hear from you soon.
