Circles of Care-Melbourne,Fl. Deception to overextend ones stay Melbourne Florida

 I was a patient in Circles of Care,Melbourne,Fl. on 12/26-12/30,2013. I was indeed  'Baker Acted' by a in-law living in Detroit,Mi. who mistook one of my comments and called the police. I was given a choice to be arrested ( ? ) or go for an eval @ Circles of Care for a period of 72 hrs. The time line was @ 7:21pm on the 26th of Dec.  Now,as I was evaled on several ocassions by several Dr.s it was deemed that ''I really did not belong in this place''.  My final and ''exit'' eval occurred on the a.m. of the 30th @ apx. 10:30am. My ''72 hours'' was to be met @ 7:21pm on this evening.  At around 5:30pm,a R.N. approached me in exclaiming,''we won't be able to get a Dr. in here tonite to sign off on your release until very,very late so would you mind staying over night as this would REALLY help us out''. I of course said,''yes''.   I was then put in to a 'pool' of names on a grease board to be seen by a Dr. and was third from the end of about 50+ names to be seen. This process took until around 4:30pm in the afternoon. I was then released to leave the premesis. I called my friend,also a local attorney,to come pick me up at that time.   Now,relegated to all the above,here lies the problem: I do have very good private insurance ( bing,bing,bing ) and am now receiving statements from Circles of Care indicating that my insurance has paid all but $685.00, which is my responsibility. The thing is,had I not been 'tricked' in to staying past my LAWFUL 72 hr. time line,I wouldn't be having this conversation. Ther were two others along with myself who were also involved in this same scheme during the same time frame.   I must wonder how many of these same situations have occurred in say,the past five years and imagine the amount of extra $$$$ these people have bilked from those like me?   I am a 60+ retired professional who,on record,has NEVER had an incident of mental health,NEVER had more than a parking ticket in this life!  I will say, in giving the 'devil his dues'.
