Circuit City in Dallas Texas - Extended Warranty Ripoff

I purchased a laptop at Circuit City on September 2000 with a Computer Support Plus extended warranty that lasted till September 2004. On December the 20th 2001, i called the warranty company with problems I had with my laptop. They told me it was my harddrive and they would be sending in a box for me to ship it to them to get it fixed.

They told me it would take 5 to 7 buisness days for the box to arrive, and today, January the 11th, i have still not recieved my box. I Have called them several times and they keep telling me the same story, "We are trying to figure out why the box has not arrived, we have to email some guy eddie and ask him why it has not been sent, we will call you back tomorrow and let you know the status of your box." They never did call me back when they said they would, and I had to keep calling them back. And who the heck is Eddie, and why is he the only one responsible for me getting a freakin box? Going to Circuit City where I purchashed the warranty was of no help either.

I waited 2 hours to speak to the manager for help and never got to even see him, the whole time he was dealing with another customer, for 2 whole hours!! The only thing the employees at circuit city told me was to call the same warranty company's 800 number that i have been calling for the past month. Don't even think about receiving any customer service with the 800 number people, they only troubleshoot the computers.

They don't even give you another number for customer service to transfer you over, simply a mailing address. How long will that take!!! My computer is a necesity for my work, its not a toy in my case, i need it fixed asap. If I were to wait for the warranty to take care of it, I might be lucky to recieve my computer some time in the next 2 years!! Circuit City and this warranty are both bogus and frauds!
