Circut City had a ad in our Sunday paper (Orange County Register),on 12/9/07, for a Fujifilm SX700 camera with an advertised price of $109.99.
On 12/11/07 I went to the Huntington Beach, Calif. store (#0416) to purchase the camera. The salesman retrieved one from stock. When he rang it up in the Camera Dept.the price totaled well over $200. I told him it had been advertised a few days ago for $109.99.
He said that had been a mistake & the camera was over $200.
I noticed a pile of their ads on a nearby counter and picked one up. It was the same ad insert that had been included in my Sunday paper. These ads were placed out for current customers. There was no mention in them of any "mistake" in the advertised price.

since its the managers responsibility to put up a notice sayin if there was an error and they didn't sounds like stupidity. I used to work at 3553 and i see the same thing all the time also dont go to firedog to get your computer fixed. if you got the city advantage it isnt circut city its a company called assurant that is known for screwing up peoples computers. or cameras or any other electronic u own. it dosent go to the company it goes to a variety of companies so you dont kn ow who has your property and if its been repaired. they can give you claim numbers and everything but sometimes you are not in the system or you had a few incidents with your system they delete you from their database. circut city is going down their stock shares are falling so dont shop there its only a matter of time before they go down.
