My mother has a loan with The Associates AKA Citifinacial. She tried to refiance with another Company to get a lower interest rate over 2 years ago. When the company called Citifinacial to get the pay off figure for her mortgage THEY REFUSED to do so!!!!!!
My mom shortly after that became disabled and now has a limited Income and cant afford her mortgage payments and is ready to lose her home that has been in our family for over 100 years.
My mom had disability insurance on her loan, but CITIFINACIAL refuses to pay off her loan with it!!! I know what they are doing to her is illegal but my mom or I do not have the finaces to hire an attorney to fight this for her. She has filed a chapter 13 but it keeps getting dismissed for one reason or another and is now got a sherifs sale scheduled for May 12 2004 to have the family home auctioned off to the highest bidder.
I need to have some one tell me or my mom how to fight this SOON!!!
