I work for Sears and the paycard is through Citi. When they mail out your debit card the way you acitivate it is with your zip code. You are given a temporary card that is used until you acitivate your permanant card. I never recieved my card and it was acitivated and on payday my money was taken out frauduletly. I called they took 10 days and I asked it there was another way then using my zip code to acitvate my card the gal stated no and it was not a problem. They order a new card and I never get it. Same thing happens. I do not use the ATM for any transaction and since the fraud was taken from an ATM they now decide its my normal pattern to use the ATM but will send me a new card to a new address. I only have 1 address I ask can you send to my work the ans was no. They send again...NO card received. I file a police report. They then send a 3rd card to a different address but then they change my complete contact information. Now they are telling me I will not get my last $668 because I use the ATM all the time. I do not the jerks who took my money did. Why do they use a ZIP code to acitvate the card? When they pull if from my mailbox they have the information. I make $11 an hour and this money was a full 2 week paycheck. How can they not protect my funds? And now way to talk to any one but through the # on the card and they are not helpful and no number to the fraud dept. I have police reports and not once has anyone gotten a picture of the thief or worried that I am out funds. They are uncooperative, rude, and badly trained. Its like I worked for nothing and they don't care. I was told if I had a balance of $10000 they would have gladly credited my account. Sick of being at the mercy of uncaring unqualifed people.

The problem is that until THEY prove it WAS NOT YOU they MUST assume it WAS you. While Im sure YOU are a nice person, niceness has NOTHING to do with YOUR money. So YOU are a victim of fruad and MUST wait out the time needed to get back your money. Yes its NOT very nice that SOMEONE close to YOU is causing YOU fruad. But it IS what it IS!!! WHY would YOU expect OR demand that THEY give YOU more money?? As far as THEY are concerned YOU are the person commiting the fraud and THEY are NOT going to JUST give YOU more money. THEY WILL do an investigation and once that investigation is concluded THEN you will have a answer. Why do YOU not have a bank account?? A bank account would make your direct deposit more secure. I can only see a few reasons WHY you wouldnt have an account and ALL of them are bad.
