City Garage Chris Schuler Took my car apart, claim to be fixing it, but either can't or won't. They had it 7 weeks. I paid in advance. Apopka Florida

Chris Schuler did a small repair on one of my cars and the work was satisfactory. I then trusted him to do an expensive transmission overhaul. He gave a fair price, and I paid him in advance with my credit card on Sept 29, 2014.

He has now had the car for 7 weeks. He first promised to have it back within a week, then gave a series of excuses and further promise dates and times ranging from a week, to a few days, to a day, and once that it would be ready in an hour.

I visited the shop on November and saw it being driven from a storage bay to a work bay. Then the car was taken apart again and remains apart and not drivable as of today, November 15, 2015.

I have kept a detailed log of events, phone calls, and emails between the owner, Chris Schuler, and myself and will continue to do so.

Chris Schuler told me that he refunded my payment of $3368.15 on or about November 1, 2014. I have confirmed that no such credit has been made to my credit card.
