Months in advance we purchased tickets for Alcatraz Island. 4 days before we never got our tickets and we were told not to cancel and we’ll still get our tickets. Two days after that we received a email that our tickets were cancelled. Now we don’t have tickets and they are sold out. Our entire trip was for this tour. I called in to support and the lady I spoke to was abrasive, combative, and was completely unhelpful. She said Alcatraz tours department didn’t have phones and I had to email. She also stated that they don’t know what happened but I was out of luck. I have researched others complaints and there’s MANY others with my experience and that the site is a scam. Regardless if I receive a refund or not, it does not make up the cost of flight, hotel, rental car, and overall disappointment of this experience!
