20001 I bought a toyoto tundra was the best truck I ever owned and told others about it A few other people bought vehicles from toyoto after my authorization City Motor has ripped me off everytime I come in with numerus unneded oil changes every 3000 miles when I hardly ever drive off road being a 75 year old man the oil is not the problem I recently took my truck in to have a 60,000 mile check up they charged me over 450 dollars even charged me 100 dollars to change the prestone the rep said he told me what it was going to cost before they did the job. he lied because he said he did not know what all had to be done and could not quote a price if Toyoto wants these kind of people representing them I will not and I will tell others not to deal with them General Motors was brought down by their dealings with the public I hope this is not the future for Toyoto. Its still a good truck but I wonder if its worth it

Not being ripped off.

First, it's TOYOTA. Not "toyoto".
Second, if you felt you were bring ripped off, why did you keep going back?
Third, 3000 miles is arguably the standard oil change interval. Short trips are hard on oil and it's cheap insurance to change it. If you drive mostly highway I'd go no more than 5000 miles.
Fourth, antifreeze does need to be changed. Conventional fluid every 2 years. Long life fluid is 5 years.
It's called preventative maintenence. All cars require it. Read your manual.
