City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton. How much do people really know about Christopher Newton? Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, claims he wants good, quality people, but does he really? Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, claims he's responsive to the public, but based on the encounters of several companies, that is not true at all!

Christopher Newton's job history includes stints at PSI, the City of Arlington, TX, the City of Marysville, WA, and TERRA Associates of Kirkland, WA. Christopher Newton is currently the Engineer C- Team Leader for the City of Austin, TX, Public Works Department. Recently, it changed its name to the Quality Standards and Management Division, the brainchild of his UT Austin idiotic classmate Keri Renee Burchard-Juarez.

In our opinion, Christopher Newton's such a bad engineer that he's being used as an example across the nation. Don't take our word for it. We have physical evidence that proves it. He wrote a memo telling his team members not to review structural engineering aspects of plans because the engineer of record seals them. The problem is that this violates the Texas Engineers Practices Act. In addition, Christopher Newton wrote false statements about this engineer's bad performance even though he gave this person has excellent recommendations for years in previous written statements.

When this engineer brought the infamous Newton memo to the attention of the proper authorities such City Attorney Gordon Bowman, City Attorney Kathleen Buchanan, several engineers, Keri Burchard-Juarez, City of Austin Public Works Department HR Manager Dianna Robles aka Dianna Martinez-Robles, Mike Boyle, Steve (or Steven Penshorn), the engineer was harassed by Christopher Newton. Christopher Newton screamed at the top of his lungs and stated that he was slandered. Sounds like he was living one of his alleged mental breakdown episodes he allegedly experienced? What's even more ironic is that he never consulted the city attorney before he wrote that infamous memo and the attorney's free for his use! We even got a copy of the City of Austin memo City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, wrote from the engineer he had fired. It is unbelievable! We bet his former Terra Associates bosses Mr. Ted Schepper & Mr. Chuck R. Lie will be surprised what kind of engineer they hired for their firm in 2007.  We heard the City of Arlington, TX, got a copy of that memo because they are worried their insurance will go up.

In this memo, City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, says such untrue things such as plan review engineers shall not use outside knowledge in their reviews. We wonder how many construction attorneys would make the city liable for his stupid
statements. That is not engineering, Mr. Newton! That's kicking your own a*s, Mr. Newton!

During a response to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, City of Austin Public Works Department
Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, stated that his fellow employees should not brief other engineers about things they discover during a review. Does this show inefficiency and stupidity in City of Austin or what! We guess Newton's so idiotic he would rather screw his fellow city workers than to do the right thing. Christopher Newton stated he doesn't believe in the U.S. Constitution because he failed to allow himself to be cross-examined in a trial setting. When he does believe in rules, it's for his own personal benefit and not the benefit of others he opposes. He is this inferior.

City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, told an engineer he has more experience than him even though he graduated the same year at this engineer did according to his UT Austin transcript. Speaking of transcripts, you can request a copy of it from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. We got a copy of his UT Austin Bachelor of Science transcript. It is quite revealing.  Christopher Newton really isn't smart if you look at his grades at UT Austin. Let's go over the grades Newton has earned on key subjects in the civil engineering curriculum when he was a five-year student at UT Austin, shall we?

City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, was on academic probation for at least 8 semesters of the 10 semesters he was at UT Austin. His GPAs were 1.93, 1.80, 1.43, 1.50, 1.50, 1.75, 1.80, and 1.666!

City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, never took any courses in structural engineering such as reinforced concrete design, structural steel design, wood design, reinforced masonry design, and prestressed concrete design. We believe that's due to the fact he got Ds in Structural Analysis, Physics II, and Mechanics of Solids. Maybe this explains why Christopher Newton wrote that memo to that engineer telling him not to review structural engineering designs. Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton and father of Tessa Newton, Natasha Newton & Andrea Newton, wrote that memo in a failed attempt to hide his academic inferiority.

We think it would be in the public's best interest to know who Christopher Newton really is. The best way
to do this is to publicly release the reviews he has done on various government reviews such as those from the cities of Arlington & Austin in the great state of Texas. They are public documents, so there is nothing he can do about their release.

During one of his reviews, Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton forgot to ensure the walls at the Sycamore Subdivision would not tip over and kill people by stating it on the plans. Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton, was even stupid enough to sign and seal the drawings to prove it was safe. We cannot wait for someone to die from his stupidity.

In another bunch of reviews, Christopher Newton stated he didn't need to do them because the city of Austin had no jurisdiction. That is a big bucket of wrong because City of Austin Title 30 says otherwise! We can't wait until these facilities have major issues so the public can have the biggest laugh. For his inconvenience, we have sent his memo to all the companies involved in City of Austin projects.

In another review, Christopher Newton, son-in-law of Howard Black, stated that a FEMA flood plain was not a drainage easement to a fellow employee. Everyone at FEMA couldn't quit laughing at him when they saw this email. It's great that FEMA can now save money by not awarding it to the City of Austin!

When it comes to reviewing retaining walls, Christopher Newton does not even review them for structural safety because he claims the engineer of record seals the drawings according to the memo he wrote to this employee! We got a copy of his proposed checklist and it is outright bad at its best because it lacks structural engineering items such as crack control provisions, checks of shear strength, and flexural reinforcing in reinforced concrete retaining walls. Yes, folks, Christopher Newton has demonstrated he is incapable of understanding his strength of materials class.

When it comes to saving taxpayer money, Christopher Newton plays politics at the detriment of city taxpayers. When two of his team members discovered dangerous building flaws at the Pilot Knob Pump Station, Newton told them to shut up.  When Newton was told of money-saving ideas for the Lady Bord Boardwalk, he decided to ignore them so the Trail Foundation could pay the city of Austin an additional $3 million. When Newton was told of the money-saving ideas of the Waterloo Park at Waller Creek facility, he ignored them. When one of Newton's engineers offered to do value engineering for WTP4, Newton told that engineer to shut up.  Thanks to Newton the $360 million project is $45 million over budget according to the city auditor! These things have one theme in common: Newton is willing to screw the taxpayers who fund his salary so he can have job security instead of making himself look good as a Team Leader. The reason he did this to that employee is because he feared his job because that engineer would make him look inferior.

Our favorite mistake comes to us from east Austin. It's the Turner Roberts Recreation Center. Three years
after it was opened, the building started settling. Block walls holing up the roof trusses were having problems. The city entered mediation with the builder and the architect. Mr. Newton made one of the bone-headed mistakes of writing the infamous memo. Instead of the city getting a new building, they had to pay for demolition costs and the new building because of Mr. Newton's most infamous memo stating the city doesn't review structural engineering issues. The contractor and architect were happy to receive his memo.

When it comes to breaking city policy, Christopher Newton is an expert. He refuses to respond to potential

Speaking of not returning phone calls to prospective employers, City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton, son of Mary Newton and father of Tessa, Natasha & Andrea Newton, failed to return phone calls on November 18, 22, 24, 28 & 30, 2011; December 5, 7, 9, 13, 15, 19, 21, 22, 28 & 30, 2011; January 3, 5, 10 & 11, 2012. We saw this posted at a few malls in the Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas areas. Californians and New Mexicans love reading about Newton as well. Christopher Newton is a savage life-form who cannot even follow his own rules! The only true way for Newton to feel superior is to ruin all those that are better than he is and that will never change.

City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer C - Team Leader Christopher Newton doesn't want to answer why his bosses Austin Assistant City Manager Robert Goode (more like Robert No Goode) & City of Austin Public Works Director Howard Lazarus demanded a former employee withdraw complaints to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers as a condition for this employee to have a neutral job reference. Christopher Newton refused to do that.  Christopher Newton doesn't want to answer why he requires two signatures on a plan review letter when all other city departments require one. Even worse, City of Austin Public Works Department Engineer Christopher Newton does not want to answer why he sets a bad example for his three daughters Tessa, Natasha, and Andrea.

Many people may know that he's a member of the Highpointe HOA Board in Dripping Springs, TX. Wouldn't these people love knowing that they have a professional engineer on their staff who looks the other way instead of defending the HOA's interests when it comes to engineering projects? We expect Christopher Newton to lie and distort facts to fit his corrupt agenda because he wants to keep himself employed at the City of Austin as long as possible. Newton will even go after someone's past for some little thing they did many years ago in a sick and twisted effort to cover up his workplace bullying he has inflicted on his employees over the years.  Christopher Newton is this bad. After all, this is a person who brews beer in his garage some say it may be illegal.

It is widely known that Christopher Newton works for a city that participates in unlawful incarceration of protesting citizens, unlawful incarceration of their employees for requesting past pay stubs for their life-saving medications, unlawful interference of unemployment claims, retaliation against employees for reporting violations of the Texas Engineers Practices Act and other laws, shooting the dogs of innocent pet owners, blacklisting of their former employees, unlawful theft of personal property, economic waste of taxpayer money on municipal projects, and even stealing artwork from 3 year old little Hispanic girls! Remember, thanks to the efforts of Mr. Newton, at the City of Austin, they didn't invent blacklisting and fraud, waste & abuse, they just perpetrate it.

Folks, we know of the many employees Mr. Newton has ruined over the years. He needs to stop his workplace bullying. He needs to leave the City of Austin now.
