LAPD and the Los Angeles City Attorney refuse to enforce Los Angeles noise laws Municipal Code Chapter 11, Article 5, Section 115 and 116 and California Penal Code 4 15.
Father Marco Ortiz put up an amplified sound system 7 years ago. I lived in my home before he put up his sound system. It is 4 loud speakers. It blasts into my home 8 times a day every day starting at 7:55AM. 90% of the time there are no church functions going on and not a sole around, yet he and his church members force it into my home. It is very loud. It is off key tape recordings of church bells and off key tape recordings of church music.
Los Angeles Noise Enforcement Team and the local LAPD police station have REFUSED to enforce the noise laws to stop the amplified sound system.
