Once again Mesa Police officers have killed a "suspect" whose main crime seems to be fear. Their excuse/cover story: "they were afraid". Try using that bit of hogwash sometime to abrogate a charge as simple as disorderly conduct, and you will find out why Joe Arpaio's Maricopa County jails are regarded as less commodious than the infamous "Black Hole of Calcutta..." No charges were ever filed. Thirty or so bullets were.

This is the fourth or fifth time since 1986 this has happened, and it will be followed by the usual lies, coverups, and hogwash, in a third-rate community where the "City Manager" makes more than the mayor, is well-connected in Salt Lake City, and where reality means absolutely nothing. 425,000 or so souls, of whom only 10-13% are "Mormons", are looked on as nothing much more than a revenue source by the local "law enforcement" apparatus, far more tainted by rackets and ripoff than the Mafia ever was, and for longer as well. Unless, of course, said citizen is a Mormon in good standing, in which case his halo is bulletproof, and he is unlikely to ever be charged with anything.

This is a community where, one author wrote, "it is easier to find and purchase crystal methamphetamine or crack cocaine than to buy a decent cup of coffee...", but the police refuse to tackle actual crime. Why, they could get hurt!!! Easier to murder unarmed suspects and tack on traffic fines.

Mesa is essentially a concentration camp, wherein the lunatic apparatus which has run the community for 150 years or so refuses to yield any ground or even discuss it. Non-LDS police officers have sued, many cases of fraudulent prosecution crop up weekly, and NO ONE--not the Justice Department, the state or Federal Judiciary, anyone truly responsible--has shown the guts or ambition to tackle this Gordian Knot of filth. The local saying is "Constitutional Rights DO END at the Mesa city limits."

Why this collection of scum has never come under RUCO and RICO statutes for outright criminal fraud and buncko activities amazes the locals, but because so few of them vote, they are locked into the eating machine which specializes in whitewash, lies, coverups, and openly criminal activity.
