If you are a customer researching a business on Citysearch.com, beware, 99% of the "positive reveiws" have been posted by the owners of the business themselves.

City Search is basically a fake advertising website. Don't waste your business dollars here. Why advertise on a site, that allows bad reviews anyway? And if you are late in your fees to City Search, amazingly those bad reviews start to show up--against you.

They charge the business owner high fees to be 'listed on City Search'. Then if a real posting comes in, or the business owner "objects to a posting, and threatens to pull their money out" City Search suddenly erases the negetive postings.

The positive postings are junk. Puffed up embellishments by businesses that are usually in trouble with the law, a regulatory agency, or licensing bureaus.

We observed one business alone, who posts several fake positive positings in one day. Fox Management, does this all the time. our of 33 reviews, 15 are posted by them. Most in the last 6 months. Their latest review is so far off the mark, they even go into great detail on how what a "Hottie" the owner, Tress Rossi is. Anyone who has seen the 'owners' realizes they don't fit the "positve posting description" of them. She had gastro/ban surgery, but is still fat, and he wears a toupee, which looks it came from Walmart. The posting was place by the boyfriend of a employee who works for Apple Computers.

And another business who, has "just approved" rental customers/tenants sit down and immediately write a positive review FROM THEIR COMPUTER while still in the businesses offices. Imagine, just renting an apartment, and the new landlord directs you to a computer, (that is all set up) for you to write your positive review about your experience with Fox Management? What are you going to do? You are going to write a brief "positve review"--aren't you.

And then there is that restuarant, Papa's Pizza, that charges $50.00 for a large pizza and "organic beer".

And that apartment complex that claims it is 'brand new" but if you call the County Tax Office, you find it was built over 10 years ago. The creek in back over flows, and your renter's insurance won't pay up, when it floods an you live on the ground floor.

Real Reveiws that's what people want. Not "positive postings' for hire like you get at City Search.
