My husband and I signed a contract with a 3 business day cancellation clause with this company. After reviewing it we called the company the following day to cancel. MHowever, we were not able to discuss this with anyone at the company until the (4th) business day - because they DID NOT get back with us. At that time that person, John Barze informed my husband that it was a contract and that it was past the three day window and basically we we stuck with it. We called our Visa company the day after the intial charge to cancel the transaction and again on 6/9/14 to start a dispute against this merchant. We feel that City Travel Brokers misrepreseted themselves and we do not want to belong to the organization and should not be held hostage by them. Further, the State of Georgia may want to look into the practices of their business dealing within the state for the protection of our citizens .

Mr and Mrs Hallstrand purchased their membership on June 29, 2014. The next morning our New Member Liaison called as a welcome call and spoke with the Hallstrands. During this conversation, she gave the Hallstrands a direct phone number that she could be contacted at. Also on June 30th the Hallstrands received their login to the website and received a welcome call from our agents.
Within the first 3 days of membership, the Hallstrands priced a number of cruises with substantial savings on each of them, speaking with our agents multiple times. Cancelation was never discussed.
It's also important to point out, our cancelation policy is printed in bolder black print on the contract that the Hallstrands signed. It is a simple matter of stating in writing and having the letter and membership material postmarked within the 3 business days. The Hallstrands had until June 3rd to send in their cancelation. They did not.
They called our New Member a Liaison on June 5th to say that they wanted to cancel. During this conversation it was explained that they were outside of rescission and to allow cancelation outside of rescission would set an unfair precedent to our members that abide by the contract. John Barze also contacted them to confirm.
It is unfair for the Hallstrands to smear our reputation when they are not being truthful about the timeline or events that occurred.
