I just arrived home at 1000 pm after waiting 4 hours at Civista Emergency Room and without being seen. I noticed I was there longer than anyone else and people who came after me were being seen and treated. Keep in mind I had excruiciating stomach pains with possible bleeding in the stomach and still do as I am typing this. I asked the triage nurse how much longer it would be after waiting for almost 4 hours and she said she didnt know. I glanced at her list and she had bumped my name down below people who had just arrived and had not even had their blood pressure taken.
I would have been there until 6 am had i not left. Ive seen long waits before but this place has earned my lowest regard. If you are reading this, please go to a different hospital. The drive may be longer but you will be back home before ever being seen at civista la plata.

Its unfortunate that you had that experience. i have been lucky twice to get in fast.
I do understand why you had to wait though, Unfortunately for you, Civista is running a "Triage" system. So it isnt first come first serve, its most severe first, least severe last. So someone who really doesnt need to be seen can say something like "im having chest pain" and that will get them admitted faster than someone with stomach pains. Some times you might want to Over State your illness. Or if you just sit in the waiting area and start moaning Real loud as if you are in extreme pain, some clerks will get irritated and have you admitted faster, just to get rid of you.
