Claire Shafer struck my sister with a coat hanger. Claire Shafer is the wife of Jared Shafer, Las Vegas most corrupt guardian.  In 2008 the Las Vegas family court assigned Mr. Shafer who was Las Vegas public guardian for 23 years to manage the affairs of my older sister April. I live in Montana, and that fact made me not illegible to act as a guardian for April in Nevada.  From our first meeting, I was uncomfortable with Jared Shafer.  Mr. Shafer made it a point that I should understand he controls the judges in the Las Vegas family court.  In fact he referred me to the Las Vegas Tribune, where Articles of his controlling the judges with hand signals was written.  Shafer said if these judges dont follow the bouncing ball, they will be finished in Nevada. Shafer went on to say the papers do not lie.

My sister was placed into Jump for Joy Care.  The treatment was horrible.  April said she didnt have enough to eat, there were limited covers for her bed, and clean clothes were not available.  One Tuesday afternoon in early 2009 I paid April a surprise visit.  While standing outside of her door I saw an older woman strike April with a wire coat hanger.  The woman said youll get more of this if you talk with strangers.  I ran out and called the police.  They arrived and the fact April had marks on her shoulders was ignored by the reporting officer.  I discovered the lady who struck April was Claire Shafer, the wife of Jared Shafer her so-called guardian.   Attempts to remove Shafer as Aprils guardian failed in the family court.  I had about $30,000 to fight and my attorney said this was only a small drop in the bucket when it comes to fighting the Las Vegas corrupt family court system. My lawyer said the Las Vegas family court is just one big rip-off.   In 2010 April died of dehydration.  The county and state have been of no help. 

After reading about Mr. Shafer online I can sum up by saying, another senior another rip-off death, this is normal for Nevada.
