I was asked by Classmates.com if I would like a free, trial membership. I was also given instructions as to how to guarantee that my "membership" was not renewed. I followed their instructions since I was not interested in a membership, merely the free trial. However, even though I indicated, according to their instructions, how not to renew, I was charged for a renewal. After looking Classmates.com up on the internet I discovered this is a popular scam on the part of Classmates.com. Many, many people were also charged when they did not wish to renew, so this is a common scam. Something needs to be done!
