I had advertised my sports car for sale myself and was contacted by a Jack McGuire from Classyauto.com to use their services to sell my car.  I was wary and told him I could sell it myself.  I eventually put the car on ebay myself and McGuire called me again and told me I would never sell it myself because I did not have enough feedback and they were the largest car seller on ebay and he could sell it fast and for more money. At first his services were for $599 and I passed.  He literally hounded me on the phone for weeks and weeks until finally after my car did not sell on ebay for $45,000 I relented and took his deal.  At the time he told me he had a "screaming hot" deal for me for only $349 so I did the deal with him and gave him my information on the phone.  He told me they would place my car on their website, classyauto.com, on ebay USA, ebay Canada and also call many of their customers who are looking for a car "just like mine". He told me he could sell the car in one week for $60,000.  Naturally I was pleased and told him so.  I then told him that I did not believe he would sell the car for $60,000 and what would happen when it did not sell on ebay.  His comment to me was, " we will market you car until it sells , either on ebay, on our site or by calling our customers"  I said "you will do this for the one time fee I paid you"  His comment was "yes, that is what we do"

The car did not sell on ebay and when I finally got Mr. McGuire back on the phone and said to put the car back on ebay and sell it for a lower price, his comment back to me was, "we will put the car back on ebay for a fee of $249 more."  Of course this upset me and I told him so, and he hung up on me.
