My husband and I bought a home from Clayton homes on 1-16-02 and its been nothing but one thing after another with these people. When getting out home the person that sold it to us at clayton homes done EVERYTHING  for us, they wouldn't even let us read all the paper work before signing  either. we was told that we had to use the mortgage company that clayton homes delt with, at the time we didn't know we could pick or use someone of our choice. I told the man from clayton homes that our land was only approved for a 2 bedroom, he told me after we got the house and they set it up that if anyone came an say anything to let him know about it an he would get some of his men out to knock out a few walls and he would put them back up when the coast was clear....

Well at this point i got to worndering about our contract because the mortgage company has to approve everything before giving you the loan.... we have an interest rate of 9.77% and i was told that a deed of trust was done that we knew nothing about until i found it on a local website that had my father in law signature on it when was odd being that fact that he couldn't write at all due to knots being on his hands from rheumatoid arthritis... this would be fruad.... on there part .... my husband got laid off from work back in dec. of 2008 and was on unemployment almost all of 2009, i called the mortgage company to let them know that we was having a hard time and to see if they could work with us on the payments... they cussed me out telling me that they are a mortgage company and there job is to make money and to foreclose on homes and resell them and told me that my husband and i needed to get us a credit card to make out payments.... its now June of 2010 and i've been gettin help from another company to try to get my mortgage to modified but my mortgage company will not help at all... its clear there just after money... so i has an  forensic mortgage audit done on my mortgage to see if anything was done that shouldn't have... there was several violations found in the audit.... one saying that Truth in lending act are unfair and deceptive practices under the FTC act.

I have called several Attorneys and the have all told me about how bad of a mortgage company i have and how they are ripping people off.
I hope that someone will read this and get in touch with me because it is high time that this mortgage company gets put in there place...
