Buyer beware!
I purchased a $29.99 car wash with detail. Upon completion I tipped the employee and left. Within an hour, I got back into my 2013 Volvo XC90 and noticed that the drivers side mud mat was missing. I then checked the rest of the car and noted that the left rear mat was missing as well. I immediately went back to the car wash.
The manager (Charlie) said it wasn't in the car. I insisted that they look for it. After 10 minutes he returned, and told me to look for it at home. I asked for the owners name or insurance information. He refused to provide it to me. I hope the owner will read this and do the right thing as the replacements are $109.00.
I am not sure why they would refuse to look or want to keep two mats, but they should be replaced as they were 110% definitely in the car upon arrival.

#2 UPDATE Employee
Attempted to fix issue
AUTHOR: James Henry - (USA)

The owner and I both attempted to fix this issue with this particular customer. we contacted him numerous times and offered to allow him to see the camera footage of his vehicle being cleaned to prove that the mats in question were never removed from his vehicle. He never responded and never return to take advantage of our offer.
The customer was told to leave the premises because he became aggressive and disrespectful to my employees using vulgar language because he did not believe that his mats had suddenly vanished, camera footage showed my employees pulling mats out of the passenger side of the vehicle only, cleaning them then returning them. If the customers driver side front mat was truly missing he would have noticed it immediately upon re-entering his vehicle after his service.
I truly believe the customer knew the mats were missing and was hoping to get my business to foot the bill in their replacements.

Unfortunatly...

Since you did not discover the supposedly missing items until AFTER you left, it makes this your word vs. their word. Had you noticed this BEFORE you left, then you would have had atleast the proof that THEY did the job and YOUR mats are not in the vehicle. Its unfortunate but it is what it is. As far as THEY are concerned YOU are just a scammer trying to get a legitimate business to replace YOUR floor mats on THEIR dime. Im NOT saying that is what YOU are doing, but its common enough that it MUST be taken into consideration.
