Cleanmywatch raised the quote price once they had my watch... used inferior mineral crystal instead of the requested sapphire crystal Speonk New York

Cleanmywatch.com is a ripoff. Once he was in possession of my watch he told me the quote would have to be increased because of the extra cost of the sapphire crystal. Russel charged me for the sapphire crystal and replaced the damaged sapphire crystal (standard in Tag Heuer watches) with a cheap mineral crystal and charged me for the sapphire one. He also didn't return the one I asked him to replace, which had olny slight surface damage, so I could get it polished out. Once the watch was finished, he asked for more money to post it back to me... really?. It didn't look right from the day I got it, but I was about to go on an extended trip, so I couldn't deal with it at that time. The watch recently had to go back to TAG because a bezel came loose inside the watch face. I asked Tag to check the crystal, and they told me it was the "lesser mineral crystal". The watch is now back to original condition and looks like it should (the sapphire crystal doesn't have a shadowy reflection". I emailed Russel at Cleanmywatch.com (cleanmywatch@gmail.com). I received a call with a lot of talk, but nothing in the way of reimbursement for the "lesser crystal". What a scammer, very poor business practices. I highly recommend you stay away.
