Clear Choice Credit Solutions ripoff St. George Utah

I got a call from a man In june 2003, on behalf of clear choice credit solutions, saying that I got selected for a $5000 unsecured credit card. He added that as a special ongoing program, $500 of the above amount is a gift for those people who start immediately. They will send the kit containing the details within 10 days and I can go through the details and still say no to it. He got my bank information telling that it is part of the procedure and will deduct the one time processing fee of $239.95 only after getting the confirmation.

Nothing happened after 10 or 20 days. So, I telephoned and got the reply that I will receive the kit in another one week. This repeated 2-3 times. Next time when I called, I asked for the refund.They asked me to fax the copy of the electronic cheque and the bank statement for the refund. I did that as soon as I could and waited for couple of days.

Nothing happened. In the mean time, the telephone nymber 1-866-463-3421 got disconnected. Then I reached the bank with whom the above agency was banking. The Bank told that clear choice credit solutions was no longer with them and they cannot do anything about it. They suggested that I may try through my bank and they may send it for collection. But my bank told me that it is not possible to get the money because the transaction occured before 60 days.

So, it is a clear case of cheating and the innocent people are ripped off. I don't know what can be done to get justice.
