Clear Debt bad business, does not deliver the services, bad advise Irving Texas

Stay away from this company !

We were desperate after my husband lost his job, and "consulted " with clear debt pro. They adviced us not to communicate with our creditors, asked us to sign a limited power of attorney "to help them represent us with the creditors" , and write a hardship letter, fax to them any letter from our creditors and said "leave it to us we are experts in handling these agencies".

After 8 months my husband is being sued by chase bank and we had to hire a lawyer to file for bankruptsy. They offered to help us "settle" the debt, and when we called them about the litigation said " you are on your own". I sent them in total 1,200.00 and Lorriek Kunkle said , clear debt will only return me $275, the rest is the fee " for their services".

I could have save the money on my own and use it to pay the lawyer, or call the creditors myself. If you want counseling advise, go to a reputable lawyer , most of them do free consultation. This is just a very expensive savings account !!
